About
Miranda Renard is a Norwegian textile artist based in Alicante, Spain. She specializes in art quilting, using natural fabrics stitched both by hand and machine.With a background as a professional milliner and seamstress, she grounds her work in a strong technical foundation, while maintaining an intuitive and exploratory approach to construction and design. Her practice focuses on the interplay of color and movement, drawing inspiration from everyday observation, nature and the rich visual language of arts and crafts. She aims to spark curiosity and invite open interpretation, allowing the viewer to have a unique, personal experience with the work.
Miranda is a member of Studio Art Quilt associates (SAQA).
